Xebas; Quadrant F-86. A lone spaceship flies towards a desolate planet. It lands in front of Galgaros Base Hex, an abandoned military lab base. Out jumps Terese, a 23 year old rogue military agent. Xey wear a maroon and purple jumpsuit that covers their whole body with a brown belt on their waist, a pair of combat boots, a visor, and a special breathing mask for harsh environments. Xey have Dissociative Identity Disorder and are the host of xer system, Lunar Collective. Terese looks solemnly at the base before them. Terese: "Well, here we are. The Lab; back where it all began." On their right, Bloodhound- an alter- comes to the front of their shared mind; this is represented through him 'spawning' behind Terese. Bloodhound is a white dog with black ears that extend to his dark eyes; he wears a black shirt and dark green pants. He is a Protector, made to watch over his headmates and keep them safe- he is like a father to Terese. Bloodhound: "You sure about this? There's no shame in turning back." He puts his paw on Terese's shoulder. "If we're lucky, the rebels might've destroyed everything in their invasion, heh." Terese approaches the dilapidated doors of the base's entrance. "If there's any place that'll give us answers, it's this one." Xey turn the flashlight on their visor on, shining through the hallway of the entrance. Broken wires and mold line the walls; strange muck on the floors. It has clearly been abandoned for a long time.
Terese leads the way of the walk as Bloodhound follows behind. Void emerges, grabbing Bloodhound’s arm. Damien, Flo, and Tide emerge as well, looking around. VOID (nervously) Can we go home Papa? This place is really scary.. I don't like it.. DAMIEN Don't worry, sport! This place has been abandoned for so long, I doubt there’s even anyone here! Tide crosses his arms in smug fashion, wearing a mischievous grin on his face. TIDE Yeah, Void, there’s no one here… (Tide leans in front of Void, making a scary face) Except for big, scary monsters that LOVE tiny, scared children... Like YOUU!!! VOID AH!! Void runs behind Damien while Tide chuckles. Flo uses the body to smack Tide upside the head. TIDE OW! What was that for?? FLO For scaring Void! Honestly, you pick on him too much! TIDE Oh please, he knows I was just messing with him! Lighten up, Flo! FLO (sarcastically) And you call me the clown. Terese turns to face the duo. TERESE Guys, knock it off, we’re on a mission. Suddenly, strange squelching noises are heard around the corner to the main hall. Everyone turns to the direction of the noise. TERESE (hushed) What was that? The group approaches the location of the sound, hiding behind a wall. Trying to sneak a peek, they see the silhouette of a grotesque monster. Its legs are spindly and severely malnourished, the back of the creature folded in an arch. It supports a giant egg brood planted in its spine, the ribcage a home for the parasite that infested its mutated host. Long tentacles and an unnaturally elongated neck grab and eat at chunks of meat as slurping and crunching sounds are heard. It stops, noticing Terese’s presence, and quickly turns to face the camera. We see vaguely the grotesque head of the creature as Terese whips back around, hiding. Everyone quickly moves away from front, visually represented as them poofing away.
